Hi Lily, welcome and well done for posting. Things can always be improved. What are your HbA1c levels? What do you typically eat?

Hello Sanguine, you are certainly making changes for the better. Last known HbA1c levels. May 2014 75. Started Lyxumia July, list 4.5 Kg.. Then had really bad virus and was quite unwell, gained 2kg. Strarted feeling better last week, hopefully being active again weight will drop again. I typically eat a sensible diet, plenty veg, fruit, fish, lean meat and eggs.

Hi Lily

You might find that fruit can be a problem if it's bananas, grapes and tropical fruit. Do you eat much bread, cereal, rice, potatoes?

Hi Sanguine, I have to be careful with fruit. I have tried and tested quantities and types of fruit over the years. I am not fond of ripe fruit which helps especially if I go for bananas which I do about once a month. I do better with berries, oranges, apples and pears. Love tropical fruits but have to be very careful with these. Thanks again for your help.
