Hi,
I'm 26 years old(f) and was diagnosed almost 5 months ago as type 1, per day 4 times insulin.
It was really hard for me to accept it, by time me and my body are almost getting along with it.
The 1st h1ac was 13.5
The 2nd one was 8.5
During the day i can see from 100 to 450! That's why i decided to sign up and read your experiences.

A little bit more information would be helpful so other type 1's can advise, btw a great reduction in your Hba1c.

It is a very big shock to the system when you first get told ' you have diabetes ' but it is do able . Loads of friendly people on here to help and advice you .
Brilliant work in lowering your hba1c .
