Hello everyone,
Just thought I would post a message to say Hi and give a bit of information about myself.
My partner has Type 1 diabetes since the age of 4 and is currently in her thirties. Three years ago she moved onto Pump and her overall control is good with a HbA1c of 6.8 (I may have this terminology incorrect). Although being on the pump for 3 years we are not seeing the control I thought we would and following a meeting with the health professional I need to give a lot more assists to help get the control she needs. Although the support from the health professionals is good I still find it very much that you are left to your own devices and also getting conflicting information. I thought it would be a good idea to join this forum where I could discuss ideas and seek help.
