Hi, let me introduce myself.
I live on the Isle of Skye with my partner. I had to give up work 7 years ago when my back crumbled. Because this severely affects my walking I have gained 3 stone in weight and inevitably I became Type 2 diabetic 3 years ago. Since then I have struggled against a constant deterioration of control and now use maximum doses of gliclazide and metformin. Because my Hba1c had still grown to 9.6 I am now just into my second month of Byetta and hardly dare test myself. I will be interested to read of other's experiences of Byetta. Fortunately I have always been very tolerant of drugs, which is just as well as I seem to take dozens, but I get mild but peculiar side effects from the Byetta.
I think that's enough for now.
Cheers
