Hello I'm new to the forum

Hi I was diagnosed as type 2 diabetic two weeks ago and I really need some advice please. I have red rashes and nerve pains and don't know if it's the Statins or my blood sugar level My dr has told me to stop the pills but I'm still no better Has anyone any experience of this - I would really appreciate some help please.
 
What are your readings (assuming you take them and have a meter)? What is your diet? What meds?

Hi thank you for replying - the Dr said that I'm borderline at the moment and that I shouldn't need medication but that I need to eat a low sugar diet. This is what I am doing, although I'm not sure which fruit is safe. I was put into Statins but the Dr has said to come off of them to see if the itching and nerve pains are caused by them?
