Good morning folks!

I'm 34 and overweight. My mum has T2, and I've had 2 babies over 9lbs, so according to the NHS website I'm at risk.

Mum lent me her Aviva Nano, and a I've been taking my BG over the last 24 hours (with my usual eating, not changed anything)

I've made an apt at the Gp, however its in 2 weeks, (rolleyes) so wondered if any lovely person could shed some light on the results, some websites Ive looked at say its only the waking BG that's important, some say the spikes, some say how quickly it goes from High to Low... so I have no idea! I know only a GP can diagnose, but thought maybe you chaps could have a look, and give me a heads up on what to ask the GP when I go! (or if it looks completely normal I'll cancel appointment haha!)

Looking at the results you offer the official ones might well show you as pre-diabetic. Waking tests are unreliable but they used to diagnose people on them but you had to have two readings of over 7. The "before" readings look excellent and although the "after" readings might be of a little concern the official guidance is that if they are below 8.5 at the two hour mark then it's fine. Quite a number of people disagree with that and work to a lower figure.

What the meal consisted of is important also and how much of it.

The Hba1c is used for diagnostic purposes these days and I suggest asking your doctor for a test to see what's going on.
