Hello! New and need advice

Hello i have just joined the community.
I have been doing my blood sugars daily for the past 7 days as i had eye yest and was told to ask doctor doe screening, my levels have ranged from 7.4 to 12.9 daily and the first in the morning is always between 7.4 and 8.0, can anyone advice what i am likely to be told after my fasting which is tomorrow then see my GP next week? i have 3 sisters all diabetic, one was on insulin, sadly passed away 12 moths ago the other 2 on tablets, my life style is very diffrent to theres so i am not sure at all what to expect.

Hi Tina ,welcome to the forum. We cannot diagnose on the forum so you will have to wait for your results from the doctor to get a proper diagnosis.Please have a read round the forum and good luck with the tests.
 
Hi sorry i only just got back on, thanks for welcome, I had my tests done this morning so will have to wait until next week now, i know before my test my bloods was 7.2 not knowing what they would like it to be it seems ok to me.
I will have a good look round though.
