Hello and welcome.

You have a good nurse there - stick hold of her! Not many approve of this diet. Also, well done on the weight loss, and long may it continue! It is also good news that you are enjoying this new way of eating. Most of us do.

Have you got your own blood glucose meter? If not, I recommend you buy one as soon as possible. These are the best tools we have. If you test before you eat and then again 2 hours after first bite, you can see what that meal has done to your levels.

Your question about milk can be resolved by doing this. Milk is something that can be difficult because of all the natural sugar it contains. However, some people get away with it. Your meter will tell you if you can. If you just put the milk in tea or coffee, it may not be a problem, but if you drink it by the glass full, it may be.

Hi and welcome you will enjoy being here Ask all the questions you want there are so many people here who will help you

hello and welcome to the forum-lots of helpful people here. Do buy yourself a meter-the most useful purchase you can make. I bought Hubby the CodeFree one from Amazon- £12 best thing we ever did as then you can see the progress you are making. you will have to test after drinking whole milk but semi or skimmed is just as nice to drink :) good luck x
