Hi another newbie here. Recently diagnosed T2 though not really a surprise as my Dad was T2 & most of his family were/are T1 & T2 & I have been pre for quite a few years.
I’ve been having problems with medication- reacted badly to Metformin & now on both Gliclazide & Sitagliptin with a constant headache & hypos if not eating all the time it seems. I’ve invested in freestyle libre2 glucose monitor which along with a carbs/calories app feels like I’m clawing back some control & learning what I can eat in what combination & when. Also bombarding the medics with charts & reports until they allow me off these bloody awful meds.
Anyway I have a malfunctioning sensor (Bluetooth seems to have failed) which Abbots are replacing but it’s messed up Shuggah which I was using to display on my watch. Any advice or do I have to wait until I change sensors?
Also (when sensor is communicating) I get a low alarm at 3-4am. This seems to be quite common - should I ignore or change the thresholds at night?
So many questions but I’ve gone on long enough - thank you in advance!
