Just dropping in to say hello.
I'm a mum, carer, and epileptic.
I was pre-diabetic but my blood this week increased. My GP says he'll review me in 4 weeks and if no improvement, it is time for medication :-(
So here I am. I need to kick my **** and do this!

Hello and welcome to the forums. Lots of good advice here and a number of very helpful and well-informed people. Keep asking questions.

Thanks x

Welcome Sploshy. Any questions or worries, just ask. There's always someone here who can provide guidance or reassurance, it's an amazing place.

There's many on here (myself included) who have avoided or lowered medication by adopting a low carb way of eating.

Have a good read around, especially the success stories and come back with questions

I think I've heard that low carb (or even carnivore) can sometimes help epilepsy too... but can't remember where to link you to.
