Recently joined, don’t understand the message above that says please don’t post any links till you have more than 3 posts. Thinking about it - does it mean I can post but the first 3 posts should not included a link to elsewhere on the web I may have found helpful. Do these posts need to be under my real name or can I have a user name.

Hi @Mary Booth , welcome to the forum.

You can post, but with your first 3 to 5 posts the forum software may not accept posts with links. Spammers will usually try to post links to miracle cures or whatever they are trying to sell so this reduces the amount of spam appearing on the forum.
After you've posted a couple of times the software will usually accept links.

Definitely no need to use your real name!
