You really must go to A&E as it sounds like you have DKA which is dangerous. They might well keep you in but surely you can't lose your job if you are ill in hospital? I'm sure they are not allowed to penalise you - I live in Switzerland so I don't know the law but plenty of members here do know and they will answer you as soon as possible. Take care of yourself
