Hey there, just joined this site and am hoping to meet new people who are in the same boat as me. I'm 21 years old and from the West Midlands i am type 1 and was diagnosed almost 2 years ago (quite late apparently! ) so I'm relatively new to this and think it would be great if I could talk to people my own age who I can relate to and share experiences with. if anyone wants a chat then pm me or reply to this. Good morning Dan.
I'm an old fart who has only recently got this thing so can't really be of much help I'm afraid.
Can't be much fun being inflicted with illness when your young.
Don't get to reliant on the virtual world though it's no substitute for the real thing.
Round here they have a diabetes club at the local hospital. Never been so have no idea how people use it but I bet there's people your age around your area who are in a similar boat.
