It's a bit harsh but you are the only one that can help you. I liken it to smokers who try to give up by eating gum or sticking patches on. They are not giving up smoking, they are just changing the habit method. They will only succeed when they realise that no more cigarettes or substitutes under any circumstances is the surest answer.
In terms of weight and food, cutting down on carbohydrates has got to be a good option. No sugary drinks and less things made with flour. Find out which mystery supermarket foods are made of flour and sugar. (Clue: they usually don't have bones in or mention an animal).
If able, walk around a bit more.
Most important of all, keep checking how long you have got to meet the September target. Don't try to lose all the weight in the last week.
