Hello,
Ive been a lurked and reader for quite a while but not through choice:( I just couldn't find a way to post via the app on my tablet, still not found a way LOL !

I am a Type 1 , adult onset, and have had a bad few years when my life went to hell in a handbasket, and I couldn't have cared less how my control was , (what control???):eek:
To cut a long story short ,my life has been improving, and I'm getting to grips with control again, joined this forum and learned SO much I didn't know, had never been told and have got back on track :) I still have a long way to go to get my A1c near acceptable , but it's getting there.

I just wanted to thank you all for the help you have given all unknowingly through my reading your posts, I just wish I could have found a way to post earlier to say this !

Well done Lass. Diabetes is hard, and deceptive :mad:

Do share your experiences - that's the best thanks of all as it will help and reassure others that:
  1. They're not alone with their issues,
  2. There is a way forward,
  3. Life does get better - even if the finger pricking does not.
Good luck with the work to get your HbA1c to a good level - I'm there with you on that same journey, so perhaps we can swap notes as time passes!
