I've just joined the forum and don't really know what I'm doing yet. I'm 56 years old, I'm married with one son, I don't work anymore and I've been type 1 for 53 years.

53 years is long time, I'm sure you've seen some changes in that time, if you have any questions on finding your way around the forum just ask.

I'm a type 2 so unable to help you too much, but I can say you have come to the right place to get help & support if you need it.

I'm sure there will be some type 1s along soon to chat.

I would imagine with the longevity of your Type1 diagnosis that there is a lot of information & experience that would be helpful to many here

Please search the forum and ask as many questions as you want.
