It's been a little while.
As some may remember, I'm going through a hard time (Divorce, homeless etc) and trying to sort my life around.
For about 10 months now I've not really watched what I've eaten etc and that's all on me. Two days ago I checked my blood sugars for the first time is forever, they were 22!! Well that gave me a bit of a fright and a kick up the ****.
I didn't eat all day until tea time yesterday and it was low carb (Sausages, bacon, Eggs) and I've not eaten since last night around 7pm. Checked my blood sugars last night and today (I know for a while the morning always seems elevated) but they are still around 12!
My question from the more knowledgeable is how long of being good before my sugars will begin to drop below 7? Does it take a while for the body to expel the excess blood sugars?
I need a total reset and my need to get my mindset back in the game.
