Help can't log in on new tablet

I lost my Amazon on my new tablet and I don't know how to get into the site ,it won't let me use the same website address

Did you mean Amazon? Could you explain your problem in a bit more detail.
 
My browser was supported by Amazon so I lost all my bookmarks (sorry I am not very computer savvy ) When I tried to get into this forum on my newish tablet it won't let me use my hot mail account or what ever it is called !

Like @Mr_Pot , I'm no sure exactly what you mean. Is this the web address you are using? If not, could you share how you logged in now?

Conversely, if you email forum@ someone will pick up your query.

Sorry, Carty - We posted at pretty much the same time there. Thanks for clarifying.

If a hotmail account is the one you registered with the site, then there should be no reason it won't work.

I have a way of saving my important stuff, both on my machines, but I have a document where I have saved all the web addresses I use, as a couple of them just don't come up in searches.

How did you manage to get logged in in the end?
 
I am logged in on my old tablet when I try on the new one it tells me that this email address is already in use arhhhh

It sounds like you are trying to join on your new tablet, as opposed to log in. Could you try going to this web address: https://www.diabetes.co.uk/forum/

On the right hand side of the screen, you'll see the block below. Please type in your user name (don't do your email address) and password and click on the green Log In button.

Hopefully that should resolve things.
 
Error Email address must be unique The specified email address is already in use
This is the message that I get when I use the instructions because it asks for the e-mail address as well as user name

Hi again Carty - Did you go to the link I posted?

On the link I sent you, please just put in your user name. It's user name or email address, not both.

Which browser are you using on your new tablet?
 
Silk browser I followed the instructions carefully but can't get in on my new tablet

Get another browser app for the new tablet, I use Chrome which is available for both Android and Apple.

When you were trying, did it ask you anything like age, diabetes type or the like?
 
@Tipetoo I need same browser as my husband for shared e mails etc Thanks anyway .My granddaughter and her husband are coming to visit soon he will sort me out !!!!

If that is happening, you are trying to join up, not log in. The join up process asks, along the way, for your information, to help build your profile, and as a new member, it would have to be a unique email address.

To Log In process requires you enter your user name, or eail address, plus password. Nothin else. The log in process then checks your credentials match and allows you in.

I will write further with a more granular process shortly. I'm multi-tasking at this moment, and need to reboot my laptop.

@carty - Could you please follow the process in the document below, exactly. It should work. If, for whatever reason it does not work, please let me know exactly where in the process it breaks dow. You can identify that by using the step numbers 1-9.

I’m finding that over the last few days that it won’t keep me logged in despite ticking the box - know it doesn’t take long to log in each time but is a tad annoying!
