help - diabetes palestine

hi there, i wonder if you can help. i am british and currently working in bethlehem, the west bank, palestine. my friends mother has insulin dependent diabetes and needs paper strips for her blood sugar testing machine. i bought her a new machine on my last visit to the uk and managed to get some out-of-date strips from a friends mothers friend.

the problem is i cant get any more from the same source. does anyone have out of date strips they would be willing to post to me. hope you can help, nicholas

Welcome to the forum,Nicholas.Please don't use out of date strips! I realise you are having difficulty getting strips but out of date ones will not give a true reading.I don't know what the postage situation is like there but,have you tried Ebay? You can get in-date strips from there which will be better.Do the doctors there not prescibe strips?or the pharmacies sell them?
