Help For My Mum Please

Hi

Can anyone point me in the direction of a website of Diabetes medications in the UK please?

My Mum has her review coming up and she has tried so many different medications and insulin and nothing is helping her. I thought if I could get a list of medications she could tell them what she wants to try next.

Hi, you say your Mum cannot find any medication that works for her, tell is the type 1 or 2, which medication she has tried before, is she overweight, does she exercise and what is her diet like, what food does she eat, write down a typical days food intake and maybe the experienced people in here can help.

To answer your specific question, this is a link that lists all the currently available medications for a type-2.

Just scroll down to the section headed Antidiabetic Drugs.

There are many here who have some experience of each of the medications (and in some cases all of them!!). So if you have any questions about diabetes treatment then please fire away.
