Type 2 Help forgot to take insulin

Hi can anyone advise????. Forgot to take insulin before lunch. Should inject novo mix 30 8 units at lunch time, and for the first time ever, forgot!!!!! How stupid. I only inject once a day. Is it ok to take at tea time? B.s. have gone to 16.3 will check again in an hour. But so ignorant don't know what to do. I won't do it again ...lesson learned!!!!
 
@fred1234 ....I would expect it would be ok to do at teatime...and then to go back to doing it lunchtime tomorrow ...my partner has novomix 30 at lunchtime (should be in morning but he always gets up late) and then again at dinner time so the fact that you will have a small overlap tomorrow shouldn't matter or cause any problems. Hope that helps.
 
Hi. I wouldn't expect it to cause a problem if you inject a bit late. Yes, there will be a small overlap tomorrow so just measure a bit more often just in case the Basal in the mix pushes you down a little bit more than usual from the small overlap?
