Help!!! High temperature and high Blood sugar

I have being feeling extremely cold last few days(it's been cold but I was wearing 2 jumpers and having 2 duvets. It's not normal) and my blood sugar has been so high too. Was 8.7 fasting. And 10 after lunch today. Only now I just realised I ve got high temperature 38.4. I am feeling terrible, Obviously I can't drink lemsip now. Any suggestions?
 
Sorry you are feeling rough, but your infection or whatever may have raised your sugar levels. What about Paracetamols? They usually bring down a temperature. If it doesn't drop soon I would ring the doctor unless you know the reason for the high temp and can control it.
 
A virus can play havoc with BG levels unfortunately. If unwell, tend to rise. Unsure how your diabetes is treated so cannot offer specific advice but keep testing. Hopefully once you start to feel better your levels should settle down. If possible, test for Ketones as well.

What about I'm on LCHF diet. Doesn't that mean my urine will be Ketonese anyway ?
 
My temperature has gone up to 39.2
Can it be a sigh of ketoacidosis ?
 
What are your BG levels ? A LCHF diet shouldn't make any difference, you've probably just got a virus and just have to wait it out.

It's about 10ish. Thanks Mo. Just slightly worried when I did the GAD test. The nurse doesn't know how to read the result. She had to google it. I think my antibodies was >5. Type 2 ?
 
10 is not too bad. Just accept until you feel better they'll probably be a little higher than the norm. Nurse had to Google GAD test ?? Scary lol ! Good luck
 
Thanks again. Now I feel better. I hadn't had temperature like this for 20 years I would say. Slight freak out !!!
