Hi All, New to this.... So any help or advice is appreciated, I was diagnosed with type 1 daibetes when i was 27 (im now 30) After intial diagnoses i was taking regular standard basul insulin and food insulin as standard. But was around 10units in morning then 6-8 units after each meal.... After around 3 months of this i started hypo-ing alot and reduced my intake.... this kept continuing until around 6 months and i was taking minimum insulin... Until my specialist told me to come off insulin, and accept the 'honeymoon phase' Im still on said 'honeymoon phase" " I need help as i continue to mange my diabetes always checking my blood sugar etc... And all readings are normal but i continue to feel unwell ( All kinds of symptons from feeling dizzy - pains in chest etc) Doctors and specialists cannot give me any answers and cant explain a thing to me. Tested me for all sorts and keep coming up blank. My diet could be better - I do just avoid sugar but eat and drink anything else i want, But as i say no real impact on my sugars.... Has Anyone experienced a honey moon period for aslong? Thanks
