I had dinner a couple of hours ago and suddenly thought I had not taken my 2 500g Metformin and 40g Gliclazide. I have just taken them and realised I cannot really remember whether I took them or not so I am now panicking that I have doubled up. WHAT SHOULD I DO

Check your bloods.. see what has happened.. if you are panicking your sugars may go up anyway to counteract your meds..
if you think you are in trouble try calling 111. Can;t really give you any more advice as not on meds.. doubt the metformin will have a huge impact no idea on gliclazide sorry.

@Rosiek Firstly do not panic be calm. Secondly both medications can be prescribed at higher dosages than you may have taken by doubling up.

I would however phone 111 and seek their advise.as an overdose could possibly cause a hypo or even lactic acidosis in the extreme.
