There are also a number of groups on Facebook that could help, such as Fightback. Its only natural to be seriously rattled after something like this, but there are a lot of good people who understand and know how to help you.

Try not to stress too much, because its bad for your health, and it is very highly likely that you will get the help you need, and quickly. This sort of injustice has been going on for a while now so people have had time to work out how to fight back and win.

One thing you need to do urgently is let your local Council know what has happened because the JCP will have let them know you are no longer getting money from them, and unless you actually tell the Council, your Housing Benefit and Council Tax benefit will stop too.

You are also entitled to 'hardship payments'. They don't tell you that you are entitled to them, but you are, so ask for the forms.

And you need to appeal against your sanctions as soon as possible. Most appeals win, but a lot of people are in too much despair to appeal. Remember that most people win.

Thank you very much its a joke the way they treat people i havnt veen sanctioned as yet but know i will tommorow just hopeing i get some money soon when i was taking into hospital i was sitting in darkness freezing x

Its downright cruel. Can you believe they found a man in a COMA fit for work? And what about the guy who had a heart attack during assessment? They called an ambulance for him and then his benefit claim was declined because he hadn't completed the interview!

There are loads of bizarre stories like that. It just shows how crazy it all is. But that will help you because ordinary people are fed up with their neighbours being treated like that so there is a lot of top quality help out there. I know how frightening this is, but it isn't the end of the world. You will suffer for a little while and then things will get a lot better. Don't be disheartened. Your mum won't let you starve, will she? Always remember that these horrible events are temporary. They don't last forever, and you can get through them.

Yet all junkies and alcoholics get it handed to them on a plate i dont like to ask my mum or let her worry shes got alot on her plate with my step dad having cancer z
