Help, my Avatar is squint

Can anyone advise what I am doing wrong? So far I have changed my Avatar picture about 8 times, and each time its as though the picture is too small. I did read the instructions and the pics are about 1200 x 1200 pixels which is above the minimum required.

Please help as my poor wee robin looks like he is sitting on himself.:bigtears::bigtears::bigtears:
 
If you're seeing what I think you are, it means you have posted in the thread.
Any thread you have posted in, it shown by your avatar sitting slightly to one side.
Looks odd, but it's normal.

Thanks Douglas, yes it does sit to the right of centre, but I also thought it looked like there was another copy of the pic below it and to the left. It does look fine when its sitting at the side of this text box while typing.
 
Your avatar as you started the post, then yours on top again as you posted in the post.

It will look different if you post after someone else., Yours will still be on top, but a different avatar will be below.
