Type 2 Help! My blood sugar level is 21, then 35

This morning I took my blood sugar level before breakfast, and it was 21.3. After breakfast (porridge) it was 35!

How do I bring this down?

Those numbers are really quite high: I agree with Antje that a call to 111 might be in order.
Putting that to one side, porridge is usually a risky choice for T2 diabetics, so going ahead, I'd say it's best avoided. If you are T1, that's a bit different, but if you're not on insulin, my advice would be to never touch porridge again.

I'm hoping that by the time you read my comment you have already got medical assistance.

Do you normally have lower levels? Are you on any medication? Do you normally have porridge with lower levels?

I'm a type 2 on no medication and I couldn't eat that level of carbs (particularly in the morning) without spiking.

When you have been treated come back and tell us a bit more so we can see how we can help.
