Help needed with diabetic problems !!

my name is Denise im 23 i have had diabetes for 2 years now and i have ended up in icu on life support for 2 and a half weeks all because of uncnteolled diabetes and the asmtha epilespy and poly cystic ovary syndrome and iron deficincy and needing a catheter full time as well now im on insuman comb 25 so 50 50 i have hypos and hypers and ketones so i do not know if i have type 1 but also have type 2 i am getting alot of pain in the area where my right kidney is i also have been told i have high blood pressure any help much appreciated im on 62 units in the morning and 32 units in the evenng t

Wow Denise you have a LOT going on and I read your worry. So sorry your experiencing this.


I am a newbie Type2 controlled with diet and exercise at present. I have no experience to help you at this time, BUT there are others on this forum that can and I wish you the very best of luck and health.

Hi @Deniseandjoe and welcome to the forum.

With so many other health issues on-going it would be impossible to know where to start, are you under the care of a specialist diabetes team at your local hospital, if not then I would strongly suggest that you ask for a referral over as they are the best people to advise you.
