I was using much too long a needle on my pens....8mm, so was going into my muscles from time to time with much quicker uptake of insulin action to food digestion. And ensuing Hypo's ..quickly
I was changed onto the 4mm , the shortest baby ones they do I think, with much improvement, as I have very thin skin and little fat.
I have just injected now into my upper inner arm as this is the best place for me for quicker absorption and I know I wont go into a muscle if I relax my arm...I have had a load of blood come back out  Does this mean I may be hitting a vein?????
I have got a little blue hard lump there now ,the size of a small grape. but it has stopped bleeding. I used a fresh needle. It is just sometimes I do tend to bleed a fair bit after some injections.
Does this mean anything, or happen to anyone else? Should I go for a longer needle again :?
Thanks for any help
