Help - normal symptoms after starting insulin?

Hi - I’m newly diagnosed type 1 due to idiopathic pancreatitis that I’ve suffered with the past few years.
I’ve been on insulin since Wednesday and have been suffered with bad stomach pains the last couple of days - is there a link? I’m not due to see my specialist nurse again until Tuesday and am after some advice/reassurance in the meantime.

Bad stomach pains are usually not a side effect of starting insuling.
