Hi
I am diabetic my fiancee is not! I would like a recipe of a nice cake to do for his birthday, maybe a cheesecake if it is simple enough! I am a goodish cook but not into all these different named spices as not used to them!

Hi Sandy

This is where you have a bit of a problem - the sweeteners in the recipe are not good for your fiance IBS (sugar is ok for ibs) but it is vice versa for you!! Sorry to dampen your enthusiasm - just a thought.
