Hi all, bit of a dilemma.

I have to pay the balance on my holiday on Tues next week. I had all my travel insurance sorted with all mine and hubby's medical conditions declared.

I've recently had a dizzy spell and Tinnitus, saw GP today who has ref me to ENT for poss Meniere's but not as urgent so it's quite possible I won't be seen before my holiday in August.

He advised I let my travel ins know because if I am taken ill while away (cruise) they would contact him and if an undisclosed condition comes up they might make it null and void. He said I can travel however.

I called my insurance and not only will they not cover the undiagnosed condition (which I understand), now they won't cover any of our prev accepted pre-existing either! The medical part would only cover anything else unrelated.

I feel uneasy about that tbh but desperately want my hols.

Thanks

Any advice on other insurers to try?

Hi @Geminigirl .

Hope that dizzy spell and tinnitus was a one off incident, and won’t spoil your holiday.

I always use an insurance broker for any sort of insurance needs. They have access to all the most reliable companies and best insurance deals. Also take care of the ‘small print details’ taking the worry of me making an error in any contract. Just sesrch for insurance brokers online to find one suitable for you.

Good luck, and enjoy your holiday.
