help while being unwell

Hi everyone, please could someone help. I have been feeling sick for most of the afternoon and early evening. The usual things like gaviscon, peppermint have not eased the nausea. I took my Lantus as usual at 7pm and managed to eat a small amount of food for which I took 3 units of Novarapid to cover. I tested at 10.30pm qnd reading was 4.7 so I drank a small glass of regular coke. At 11.pm I vomited quite violently. Please can anyone tell me what to do about the lantus or do I just keep testing and adjust my novarapid and deal with any hypos. Thanks very anxious
 
Hi Indy51 thank you for your reply. I found the info you linked v helpful and have managed beteween sleeping and rushing to the bathroom to keep my levels just below 10 not brilliant, but didn't want them to drop too far because the thought of food or too much sugary drinks to treat a hypo was too unpleasant to think about. This really is an unpleasant bug whatever it is, night night
 
Glad the information helped, Coco. There seems to be a lot of viruses doing the rounds in the UK at the moment.
