Help with Diabetes info for Children living with diabetes.

Hello, I am a Higher Education Student and am currently writing an essay about children living with diabetes. I would like to know the part played by various health care professionals involved in the care of a child with diabetes; if they were helpful, any problems encountered, who made the initial diagnosis, etc This would include the role of the child's GP, the diabetic nurse and the dietician. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Many Thanks.

Our gp first found the signs my son had diabetes but then sent him hospital for further tests, now I have regular contact with the diabetic nurse xx
