I am on 6 tablets a day for my type 2 diabetes. My blood sugars do not seem to be getting any better. Does anyone think that I may need to go on insulin. I have been diagnosed since January 2013. Also seem to be very tired all the while, not been able to get back to the gym for 6 months, anyone else had this problem. Has anyone got any good ideas in what I should be eating to get this under control. Would love to hear from anyone. Also on colestrol tables

Hi. How old are you, are you overweight and what tablets are you on? What was your last HBa1C blood test? What are your typical meter readings when you measure your blood 2 hours after a meal? Without more information it's not possible to offer suggestions about insulin. NICE Guidelines suggest insulin is considered when your HBa1C is above 7.5% and you are on three level diabetes tablets. If you are overweight then other injectables may be considered more useful.
