y mum is a newly diagnosed diabetic (IDDM) and has a sliding order of Actrapid as follows.
0 – 5 mmol/L = nil insulin
5.1 – 10 mmol/L = 6 u/s
10.1 – 15 mmol/L = 8 u/s
Her BSL is 2.0 mmol/L. What should I do?

I hope that by now you got some help with this.

2mmol is a hypo and needs treating with a fast acting carbohydrate to bring up the level. Please let us know how you got on.
