Hi I have just been diagnosed and have been placed on medication i have not been to see the diatician yet but am quite keen to know what sort of diet i should follow, this whole process is quite scary at the moment so any help would be much appriciated, if someone could recomend a diet plan or a web site with a plan on that would be great.

Hi Karen,welcome to the forum.You do not say if you are type 1 or2.Have a good read round the forum especially the wonderfully confusing threads on carbs and you will get some idea on diets etc.Don't worry,we've all been there and ask questions because that's what we're here for.
