I wondered if any body can reccomend any good diabetic cook books, especially for single people. Most books i've found are for four or more (have a good appetite but not that good! :) )

Try "the GI Diet by Rick Gallop" my Dr reccomended it for me and its got some good ideas and advice in.

soaps on telly and people talking about the characters as if they were real.
I found one in the charity shop, called The low carb long term lifestyle, it's by Carolyn Humphries. ISBN 0-572-02966-7. Since it'scopyright 2004, you might well still be able to get it. the preamble is useless to diabetics, but there are some excellent low carb recipes and of course if you make 4 portions, you freeze 3. the pound shops often have food containers suitable at excellent prices.
