Helpful ferret

After my walk this morning I checked to see if the ferret was awake. He was so I picked him up and went into the garden. While there he sank his teeth into the forefinger of my right hand and wouldn't let go. This is a bit unusual since if you tap his nose he usually releases whatever piece of my hand he's taken a fancy to.

Trying to think how to get him off I came up with an idea. I went back indoors and put a test strip into my meter. It saved a lancet.

5.8 since I know someone will ask. That's me not the ferret.

I wish someone had explained that to him since once the teeth were in he seemed asleep.
