Here's that article on training intensity vs volumes

Having had a period cutting back on the volume and intensity of my training to recover from a mismatch between training and sleep, I feel ready to plan a new training cycle and I shall be following the advice of this article. Mostly LSD with just a couple of high intensity sessions each week, and I promise to keep those easy sessions easy and the hard sessions hard
