Hi all, Got told i had Type 2 in October of last year but it has took 4 months for me to finally admit i have diabetes and need to change my eating habits so my 2 year old still has a dad in a few years time,
I recently read a post on here from a bloke who is dying from complications from diabetes and him not controlling it properly and it really shook me up and made me see i need to do something about it and not just pretend i dont have it.
Welcome to the club that no-one really wanted to join, John. (That's been said many times before, BTW).
Lot's of info and advice on here but I just wanted to chip in to say it is good to hear of someone who's been specifically moved to do something this positive, by something on the forum - and I'm sure the OP would join me in that thought too.
Hi John and welcome to the forum. Read the information that Pavlos posted the link to as I think you will find it useful. Ask questions if you need to as there is usually someone who can help.
