Hello, ive recently joined as it would be nice to talk with people who understand what its like having Diabetes. I was diagnosed 18 years ago when i was 6 years old. Although friends and family are supportive; they dont really understand having it :) would be nice to see how other manage

Welcome Sianyh !

I've only recently (6 weeks ago today) morphed from a diet-controlled T2 into an insulin-dependent LADA, so I can't really comment about managing, except to say I have to 'think' differently.
I would be interested, as would others, to hear how you have managed.What's been hardest for you ? Whatever you share will be fascinating for other readers of this thread, and may spark off more sharing : )
