Hi hI am almost 60 and have had diabetes for 20 years, I am now on insulin. have looked around the net for a UK based dialysis forum as that is my main concern at the moment as due to go onto dialysis in next year or so :-(
I live in London and want to retire to south coast, this appears to be more difficult then you would think as Worthing dialysis unit have a waiting list a mile long, and have been told I would need travel to Brighton. even there ii is complex as have been told my consultant will have to write to their consultant to see if I will be "accepted" on to his waiting list.
what would happen if I just moved down there, would I have to travel back to croydon 3 times a week?
