Hi my names Jodie and I am a type 1 insulin user, I have been for 13years. im 18 now and finding it hard to adapt to adult life with my diabetes. need someone to talk to whos going through the same!

Welcome to the forum . Diabetes can be very difficult to adapt to , especially with how one minute it wants to work and the next it doesn't .

I am 22 , and have had diabetes for 15 years . Not much older than you , so always about if you ever wanted to chat .

Hi Jodie I'm 61 and struggling to adapt to adult life ... theres no guarntees you'll manage it but stop .... look around ... do you really wanna be one of them!"!!!
 
Hi Jodie and welcome to the forum, there's type 1's of a similar age to you on the forum so do feel free to ask for advice from them.
