Hi all, do any of you have to have a fructosamine test instead of hba1c?

My hba1c comes back as 32 which is brilliant! Unfortunately, my blood glucose tests are between 10-25. I was given a fructosamine test and this indicated levels of 53. I'm on 2 types of insulin, up to 5 injections a day, and only now getting my blood glucose readings down. Just wondered if any one else has experienced this?
 
Hi. I've experienced it the other way. An initial Hba1c of 60 and blood glucose readings of 4-7 most of the time.

The Hba1c isn't a panacea of blood sugar control. There are a number of factors which impact the readings. The iron content of the blood being one.
