Hi all
I’ve just joined. I’m frustrated with my diabetes care team as they seem to treat everyone the same and I’m obviously not.
After my diabetes becoming seriously uncontrolled I decided I needed to really knuckle down and start being ‘good’
My diabetic nurse has changed my doses and my diet is a lot better.
However, they keep saying I should be 4-5 average. At anything below 5-6 I go into bad hypo. I mean really bad, shaking and on the verge of collapse. I’m trying to adjust my doses and times but lowering the doses as below causes it up go back up. I felt a bit lost and frustrated I was hoping I could get some advice and support here. My averages are 8 and at that range I can just about felt okay.
I cannot ever miss a meal or I go into hypo, I have to carry glucose tablets all the time if I go out.
Doses-
AM: 1 Gliclozide / 2 Sukkarto
PM: 1-2 Sukkarto ( 2 keeps causing hypo)
Thank you all in advance.
