Hi, I'm a newbie to this site, and just thought that, in the interests of politeness, I ought to introduce myself. I am female, T1 for 43 years,with hypertension,glaucoma and neuropathy. I actually came across this site whilst researching the managemnt of diabetes because my GP asked me to speak to some medical students on the subject. I actually think he wants me to give a talk about the (mis)management of diabetes! I read some of the posts and realised that a) some were really funny,b) they were educational and c)they were all honest. My kinda place, you would say.
