Hi......another newbie!!

Hi

My 12 year old son has been diagnosed with type 1 in the last 10 days. It was a huge shock to us all and the only reason we found out was due to his excessive thirst.
I must say he is coupling extremely well and would go as far to say he is coupling better than myself or his dad!!!! He is doing all his insulin injections the only thing we do is help calculate his carbs to see if he has it right.
Looking forward to having some info overload on this.

welcome to the forum hope your son is ok can't imagine what it's like to have that sort of news about your child it was hard enough when my husband was diagnosed but this is a fantastic forum and there is always good advice if u and your son need it
