Hi Sandy, What trouble you are having with everything, my thoughts are with you, but stay positive as I am sure you will. With regards to your tooth problem, as some have already said, think seriously before having them all removed as it would be such a major step and how long would the healing of the gums take in a diabetic? I used to have a **** dentist but fortunately a few years ago I changed to another dentist who is absolutely brilliant. I suffered with gingivitis once and it was treated and cleared up. Now though as others have said, I think that mouth maintenance is paramount to keeping teeth. I used to suffer dreadfully painful and sore gums that used to bleed really badly everytime | brushed them. New dentist said to ditch the manual brush and get an electric toothbrush and brush the gums and teeth twice a day - after about 10 days my gums stopped bleeding altogether, I couldn't believe it. I now rigorously use electric toothbrush and little brushes in between my teeth and see the dental hygienist every three months and this has made a massive difference. Have you seen a dental hygienist?
