Hi Giulio, I'm new too. I only found this forum last month.

My hba1c is 8.2 at the moment and I'm hoping to get this down for my next appointment also.

Hi! My name is Giulio, I live in a small town in Italy, I'm 25 and I'm diabetic since 1999. My english is not very good but I hope to improve it! I study law at university, I like it so much!
My HbA1c is very high in this moment (8,9%) but I'm working hard to get it down soon! I've suffered a lot in my adolescence beacuse I felt different from other guys and my classmates... I think you know what I'm talking about! I had many terrible periods in my young life... anxiety, panic attack, depression, etc. But I'm still here and I'm trying to change!
I think this site is fantastic, how many people! It's a great opportunity to improve myself, to share joy and pain, to share my life with other people with the same illness because I didn't found yet a diabetic type 1 person in the real life to talk about it.
